The edges of the beautiful optical-grade glass facade fit seamlessly with its stainless steel rim; the rear is an incredibly finely milled aluminum, with a hard, black plastic strip at the bottom, covering the device's antenna array, and providing small, unsightly grids of holes for the speakers.

In comparison with other mobile devices with high resolution displays, which run on Windows Mobile, the iPhone shows you a smooth and easy readable font size.
The display remains completely readable even if outdoor or under direct sunlight.

We also have to mention the three sensors that Apple has put into this device: the proximity sensor that has the role of switching of the display as soon as you raise the phone close to your ear, in order to protect you from turning something on or off in the middle of a call; the light sensor which will adjust the screen’s brightness according to the surrounding lightning conditions; the orientation sensor will flip the screen according to the rotation of the phone and it will help you change the way a web page is displayed or a picture is taken or presented.
