Asus introduced P565 PDA image 1Today, Asus announced its latest Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional powered smartphone, the P565. The handset is targeted for the business user and it’s mostly advertised for its fastest CPU in the class, the 800 MHz Marvell TavorP.

Asus P565 comes with a 2.8 inch VGA touch screen and features tri-band (900/1800/1900) GSM/GPRS/EDGE support. It also has 3G with HSDPA and Wi-Fi to ensure the faster data transfers. The Glide user interface is also on board, to help users use their fingertips to control most of the phone's features easily and conveniently.

The handset also packs a multimedia punch with its 3MP autofocus camera and microSD card slot for extra storage. A front-facing VGA-resolution camera is also present, for video calling if your network supports it.

Other features include GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth v2.0, USB, 256MB flash memory and 128MB of DDR SDRAM to deal with the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS requirements.
