Cricket announced Samsung Messager II
Right after MetroPCS yesterday, Cricket has made the new Samsung R560 Messenger II phone available to its customers. Compared to the original Messager, the new model is sleeker, offers a new QWERTY keyboard design, steps up to a 2-megapixels camera and adds video capture and EVDO for high-speed data connectivity.
"The original Messager was an all-time favorite among Cricket's customers because it is an easy-to-use device for power texters. Cricket customers tend to be more active texters than the average wireless users; in fact 52% send at least one text per day compared with an industry average of just 33%," said Matt Stoiber, vice president and general manager of devices for Cricket.
Sleeker, faster and cooler than its best-selling predecessor Messager, the new handset gives users real-time connection to friends through revved-up social networking applications and faster internet browsing and downloading music and ringtones. Users can snap pictures, shoot video, and store their newly created multimedia alongside music and more on a microSD memory card.
The Samsung Messager II brings everything to a power texter’s fingertips for personal email, SMS and MMS, and users can customize their own devices with downloadable content and Bluetooth file transfer profile. Cricket MyHomeScreen provides access to news, sports, entertainment and weather at users’ fingertips. Additional features include a 2.0-megapixels camera, 2.2-inch display with 240 x 320 pixels, Stereo Bluetooth and Mobile Video.
The Samsung Messager II wil be available as of tomorrow at Cricket retail stores, online and approved dealers for $199.

i used to have this phone , but i dropped my phone in kool-aid and now i really miss it because it was a good phone. all these new phones that cricket have out are just pitiful, i mean they are nice in all but they break easily or they won't charge and its pitiful. i got the new huawei ascend and it does not work. I hate that i put out so much money for these new devices and to top that out after a few months they go bad. the old cricket phones are better. and they are useful. I mean all i do is text and get on facebook.
i have this phone its good in all it just turns off alot
