First pictures captured on the 41-megapixels Nokia Lumia 1020 appear
A couple of pictures captured on the highly-anticipated Nokia Lumia 1020 have been uploaded by no other than Joe Belfiore from Microsoft, the main person behind the Windows Phone project. The images are from recent trips and have been uploaded on Flickr. It is indeed the Nokia camera superphone that everybody talks about these days, the 41-megapixel super device and should blow our minds when it appears officially in just a few days, on July 11th.
The Nokia Lumia 1020, which was also known as the Nokia EOS, Nokia Elvis or Nokia Lumia 909, looks very similar to the Lumia 920, but comes with one huge difference, a very capable camera on its back.
Even if it is technically possible to fake Flickr’s EXIF data, it is highly unlikely that someone in Belfiore’s position would do that, so it is almost certain here we are looking at the first camera samples taken with the Lumia 1020. The phone’s 41-megapixels camera is expected to come with great zooming capabilities and a huge sensor for presumably the best pictures taken with any smartphone ever.
The images indeed show amazing clarity and we are waiting anxiously to see Nokia unveil the phone on July 11th in New York.
