For your photographer needs, Nokia Prism comes with a 2 Megapixel camera, capable of taking pictures in six resolutions, from 160x120 up to 1600x1200.
There are plenty of camera settings: night mode, five color effects, three quality levels, white balance and the 8x zoom.
Unfortunately, there is no possibility of adjusting the brightness level. There is also a LED flash available, that can be forced to on or set-up on the automatic mode.
Photo quality was medium; objects were distinct with bright colors but some of the pictures turned to be a bit grainy and blurred when shot from a close distance.
The camcorder shoots videos in the old QCIF resolution (176x144 and 128x96) with sound. The length of clips in the 3GP format is limited only by the available memory.
As for the gamers delight, Nokia 7500 Prism comes with four preinstalled games: City Bloxx, Snake III, Sudoku, and Music Guess. Well, we are sure most of us are already familiar with the first three Nokia games, except for the last one. Music Guess plays tracks from your gallery and asks you to identify the song.
The organizer is similar to other Nokia phones and comes structured with five events types: appointment, call, birth date, note, and reminder, each of them having its own specific field.
The notes come with a limited length of 3000 characters.
Other features worth mentioning would be Bluetooth version 2.0 with A2DP; GPRS and EDGE both class 10; USB connection, also version 2.0; size and unit converter; the Sensor application is also an useful tool, acting like an Instant Messenger via Bluetooth.
As a conclusion, we might say that if you are fond of mobile phones with unique design, yet no so powerful inside, and willing to pay extra, then Nokia 7500 Prism is definitely your best choice for the moment.
