Samsung Behold for T-Mobile (See all news)

Starting today, Samsung Behold, a 3G-enabled touch screen device is available on T-Mobile for $150 after rebates and a two year agreement. The new device features TouchWiz interface, 5MP autofocus camera, full HTML browser the and a built-in GPS receiver.

The ultra-thin T919 Behold has a 2.8 inch TFT display (240 x 320 pixels) and full-QWERTY on-screen keypad with vibrating feedback. The built-in accelerometer automatically switches the screen between portrait and landscape modes.

Running on Samsung's new TouchWiz user interface, specially designed widgets let users personalize commonly used applications. They can pick from preinstalled applications such as the web, music player, instant messaging, Bluetooth and navigation services to add to the home screen.

Beside the 5MP autofocus camera, built-in GPS and full HTML browser, this quad-band GSM, dual-band UMTS device also sports Bluetooth with A2DP, FM radio with RDS and a microSD card slot for up to 8GB memory cards. Unfortunately, the handset does not feature Wi-Fi support.
