The Samsung Galaxy Note has finally made it across the ocean, being now available for pre-order at AT&T and Best Buy stores for $299 with a signed two-year contract. The GALAXY Note LTE is expected to be released on Saturday, February 19th when orders will actually start delivering.

The Note will be available in two colors, Carbon Blue and Ceramic White, and will come with a number of optional accessories such as a desktop docking station, a spare battery charger, a flip cover case and a pen holder.

The AT&T version of the phone is a tad different from the original as it now sports four control keys below the display instead of two touch keys and a physical Home button on the international version. The hardware is also modified as the phone is now powered by a 1.5GHz, dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon processor instead of the Exynos processor.

However, these are the only differences between the AT&T and the international models.

In case you forgot the main specs, we shall remind you that the Samsung GALAXY Note LTE sports a massive 5.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 285ppi pixel density and a resolution of 800x1280. The dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 processor is backed up by 1GB of RAM, and you have 32GB of on board storage, which you can double using a microSD card.

The Samsung GALAXY Note LTE comes with an 8-megapixels rear snapper able to capture video at 1080p (30fps), and a 2MP front facing.

Unfortunately, the phone will only be running Android 2.3 at launch but Samsung and AT&T say it will be upgraded it to Ice Cream Sandwich along with the international version soon.
