Sony C906 Honami system dump shows new UI and 20MP camera
We have already seen some leaked images of the upcoming Sony Xperia handset flying around on the internet, and now, an interesting system dump of the device that is also known by the codename Honami has surfaced revealing some details about its hardware and also showcasing some of the new UI changes.
To begin with, the leaked screenshots of the device reveal some specs of the highly awaited phone, and it seems to be running on a Snapdragon 800 processor and comes with a 20-megapixels sensor that can record 4K videos in 4000 x 2000 resolution, which appears to be very interesting even if the aspect ratio is rather unusual.
There also appear to be a number of Augmented Reality modes which can be activated through the camera. There are also several changes to the UI on the Honami camera-phone, and you can see a new new app drawer and a new launcher. There is even a new Walkman app with unlimited music streaming available. You can now place multiple Small Apps on the screen at once and there is a new keyboard available as well.
It is rumored that the Sony i1 Honami will be introduced during a Sony event in Paris on July 4th.
