Xiaomi Mi3 to come with 3 GB of RAM and 5.5 inch display
After the latest flagship by the Chinese phone maker Xiaomi, the Xiaomi Mi-2S, managed to beat the Samsung Galaxy S4 in terms of performance a few months ago, it appears that its successor, the Xiaomi Mi3, is even more promising in that respect.
Images of a prototype Xiaomi Mi3, the upcoming flagship of the company, have appeared on Chinese microblog Weibo showing a huge a huge 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, which is way up from a 4.3-inch display on its predecessor.
As we just said, performance on the new Mi3 is even more promising, as instead of the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chip, the new flagship will be powered by an even faster processor, most likely the mighty Snapdragon 800 which will apparently be backed up by an impressing 3GB of RAM. Other important features of the device include a 13-megapixels rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing one, as well as a promising 3500mAh battery.
As you probably know, Xiaomi phones run on the proprietary MIUI custom ROM for Android.Even though Xiaomi is not a huge name in Europe and the States, it really is an important player in its home country, China.
The Xiaomi Mi3 is expected to be made available in August, but, unfortunately, it looks like it will be another China-only device.
