ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini leaks in press image ahead of launch
The ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini, which is the smaller variant of the ZTE Nubia Z5 that was launched in China earlier last year, has leaked in a press render just ahead of its official announcement.
The ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini is rumored to be landing with a 4.7-inch 720p display that is only 0.3 inch smaller than the original Z5’s, which at that time was one of the earliest 1080p Full HD resolution displays. The smartphone is also said to be powered by a Snapdragon 600 chipset with 1.5 GHz quad-core Krait 300 CPU, instead of the more powerful Snapdragon S4 which powers the Nubia Z5.
The Nubia Z5 Mini’s processor will be backed up by 2 GB of RAM. The upcoming smartphone is also said to be packing an 8 megapixel rear camera as well as a wide range of connectivity options.
The mini-variant of the ZTE Nubia Z5 will measure 65.7 x 134.8 x 10.3mm, will weigh about 160g and will be running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. Unfortunately, we have no official confirmation on the launch date of the smartphone, but ZTE is expected to officially announce the device very soon.
